Brad Donner is the latest addition to the Schrock Innovations team in Omaha. Its no secret that I have been getting pummeled with video production, graphic design, website design and proposal requests lately, so we brought Brad on board to help get things caught up and on time again.

The Rio where the conference was held was full, so we got a room at Treasure Island and rented a 2007 Mustang convertible. You should have seen he people walking around Vegas in winter coats. It was 50 degrees outside and we had on short sleeves with the top down. People thought we were nuts! Little did they know we are from Nebraska where it was -10 and snowing that day 🙂

Since then my boy Mitt dropped out of the race and endorsed McCain (who I am still not completely convinced I should vote for). All of that aside, I suddenly started seeing John mcCain banner ads on my blog.

Kim Jake and I touched down in Orlando last Sunday for JV Alert Live where we managed to audition 1/5 of the people in attendance for Top Affiliate Challenge. In fact, some of the people who auditioned were so funny that we were able to make a pretty cool blooper reel.

I have been in Orlando for a couple days now. Its strange to be in a town that is opposit of Nebraska. The people on the street and in traffic are complete jerks, but all of the service workers from the people at McDonalds to the front desk of the hotel a the nicest people I have ever met.
