Back in the Field and Loving it!

This past week I spent some time in the field working with our customers to solve their computer problems. I LOVE going onsite because it reminds me of the good ‘ol days when I wasn’t burdened by all of the administrative garbage involved with running a business.

This past week I networked a Mac with a PC-based network for printer and file sharing, removed a ton of spyware from some Windows XP systems, installed a TON of memory, and just spent lots of time getting to know individual customers.

One of my customers this week told me about how his neighbor Charlie McBride handled the first Husker football season after Callahan took over the team. Another customer told me about how he joined his Masonic lodge while on a 5-day leave before being shipped out to the Korean War.

I’ve had a taste of the freedom of onsite computer repair, and I think I may just get my homework done early for next week so I can head out in the field a bit more. If you are having a problem with your computer and would like me to come take a look at it, give us a call in Lincoln at 423-9595 or Omaha at 934-9423.
