That’s good initiative to recycle unused electronics like mobile and computers. I have read that cell phones and computer equipments if not used can be sometimes dangerous as well so this is the opportunity to get rid of the electronic garbage.
Wow what a really neat event you put on Thor, hopefully you guys got alot of the folks in Nebraska to participate and bring their hardware over to you for recycling. Would be neat to see some sort of recap video on the event.

It’s good to see you doing this. The amount of computer waste that piles up without recycling is going up by the day. Hopefully, lot of people participate.
Great contribution to the electronics recycling effort Thor. Too often old electronics ends up in landfills where it seeps harmful chemicals into the ground. It usually just isn’t convenient enough for many people to bother taking such items to a recycling facility. Events like this are sure to help. Great work!
That is really cool. I hope the recycling drive goes well.
Yes this is a wonderful idea, as a business owner my self i seem to wonder how i will get ridd of all this old hardware i have but having seen this video, its really inspired me to get the people here in the uk to set up something similar.
People throw out way too much stuff that could easily be recycled if they just did a bit of research.
Recycling computers has always been something that kinda freaked me out. 😛 But I’m typically the one to keep them around for years and never get rid of any of them.
Finally a smart blogger-man…I love how you’re thinking…and writing!
That is a great idea you guys had. I had to go over this with my mom the other day, she had no idea why you even needed to recycle it and what it could potentially do if she didn’t.
Hi Thor this is really nice Idea! Also there is no cost at all. thanks for share this information to us.
Cell phones contain toxic metals that can pollute the environment and threaten human health. When recycled responsibly, the metals can be put back into circulation, decreasing the need for new metal mining.
The Collective Good organization takes used cell phones, refurbishes them, and then re-sells them to distributors and carriers for use primarily in developing countries, providing affordable communications to poorer citizens while helping to “bridge the digital divide.”
How did the event go, We haven’t seen a new post from you in awhile. You must be busy which is good.
Where have you been haven’t seen any updates lately?
