Yes, it is worth it as far I as am concerned. after all, if your business appears on more and more places, then it’s more likely for the new clients to track you down easier.

I live in a country where there are not too many people that are using Google Places. Is it worthy to list my business over there?

Google Local Business is really helpful for business. The problem is that the owners don’t know how to introduce their location on Google Places and don’t know how to optimize the site to appear in first positions in Google places.

However, this seems to change in short time. In my country, a lot of business are already set up their business on Google maps.
