At this point, with Obama now being the president-elect, people seem to be listening and responding to him as though he means something, unlike our former leaders who seem to be able to do nothing on their own except repeat what their advisers have said. So I think the former leaders have wanted to be the Great Pumpkin, but failed even at that. Obama seems to be a real leader.
