Mang, i was expecting to WHOLE hell of a lot of better production, branding, high impact, and quality. Its poor video, video editing, kind of remind me of being back in school watching old PBS learning specials from the 1980’s.

Also I did not understand why the episodes where all about sitting down and talkin in front of a camera or talkin in a conference room, I started sleeping on it. Mang!

I expected the show to be a REAL reality show.

The show is an pointless waist of time and piece of SH*T

Sorry your show sucked so bad.

Part of the reason the show is failing aside from bad acting, horribly cut scenes, and low quality videos is that the actual reality aspect of it, the learning aspect, and the lack of funding is really off balance. I truly think the show would have had more success if it actually had value for the audience. From watching it, there is very little teaching although improved, still too little and way too much drama. The should would probably have been much better if you had ramp it up to an hour long per episode, showed strategy, and I don't know if this was true or not but not use affiliate's own income to generate income for the show.

I mean in the real world they would have to use their own money but obviously they get to keep the profits. The other issue comes in that a lot of connections are being pulled and in reality, the majority of affiliates starting out there and the bulk of your audience don't have these sort of connections. While it is true the show is a challenge to find the top affiliate, the fact is majority of the people on the show aren't really super affiliates nor are they competing in a way someone sitting at home can learn.

There are so many angles to look at and I am not saying the show doesn't have it's highlights, but I do hope there would be more improvements in the future to address all these issues. Clearly the blogging community have brought tons of points up and very few of them are getting addressed.

Episode 5 was much better than any of the previous ones. The show and the quality is improving. keep it up!

With more coverage of how the contestants are generating income it would be good to see if they are actually profitable, or if they are just taking the handouts they seem to regularly beg and are just giving it away to the ad networks, without any consideration for ROI. Maybe good ROI could be rewarded in some way.

Bring on more Wes and less of the host. He is much more natural as a presenter, and appears to know his stuff and can hold an intelligent interview.

It is truly a wild ride on Top Affiliate Challenge. I'm also surprised Ian gave up so easily and that XY7 team members are voting themselves off. And what is John Chow's real strategy? Keep watching.

Episode 5 was a major milestone. I think you guys did a great job and shared some useful information. JC forgot to mention the premiums they charge on those prepaid cards. The US Bank ones that he had are $6.95 each for shipping. Still w/ vouchers you are ahead, but it's not like you're getting a $25.00 card for $25.00.
