It's been 3 months...have the code installed...and thus far nothing for T-L-A.

Very bizarre indeed.

It took about 2 months before the first text-link-ad showed up on my blog. Sometimes it takes time for them to find appropriate advertisers. I barely make anything from Kontera ads.

Godness Gracious Thor! I have spent quite sometime trying to post a comment on your experience rolling an Inspiron 1721 back to XP. I haven't found the place to do it and that's why I am hijacking this thread. Sorry pal. What am I doing wrong?

Ok. My experience with the 1721 was a pain in the neck since DELL doesn't support your downgrading to XP (you mentioned it).

However I managed to clean HDD erasing lousy Vista and installed everything ok except for the integrated soundblaster audigy.

I have tried a dozen drivers and I keep getting the same message: "No sound device installed".

I tested with DELL Utilities & Drivers CD and sound tested gorgeous, still volume, audio, mixer etc. appear greyed out in the System Hardware Panel. Even more strange you can see audio codecs etc. installed in the Device Manager list.

I was recommended to disable audio in BIOS, but bios menu offers no audio option. I disabled the "media card" instead to no avail.

Any ideas?

Can you provide a link to this successful XP rollerbacker you mentioned in your website?

I'd appreciate it.

Odlanier, 1721 Inspiron, AMD dual x64, 1.8, 2GbRAM, ATI Radeon 1270 256Mb. XP Executive NL... still soundless.

Cheers and congrats.

Seeing as how nearly 50%+ of sites running TLA get permanent penalties, I use Kontera instead.

I would rather trade $100/m with Kontera for three years than $500/m with TLA for 2 months and get a permanent penalty.

TLA is a money short-cut that I do not believe in. Kontera doesn't make me a lot of money but I would surely recommend it over text links.
