I, too, made the mistake of ordering through overnight prints. I found out later that “overnight” means that they have sometime in the past worked at night – not that you will receive anything in one day. In fact I never did receive my printing job in spite of continous reassurances by their cust serv reps. Keep away from them!

I also recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Overnight Prints. My story is a mere inconvenience, not a near-catastrophe like most of the stories here, but it was certainly enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere and pledge to e-mail their Customer Care Department a copy of every invoice for every order I place with one of their customers for the rest of my life

I understand things happen, but when I Google your company and the word complaint, I see a mile long litany of complaints dating from 2004 to October 2007. I can only assume that late shipping and under delivery are part of your corporate culture, and not a passing problem.

vernight prints is dumping buckets of cash into reputation management services, but they have not solved the ORIGINAL PROBLEM.

Oi! Usually the issue with printers are delays in printing. Surely shipping is another matter altogether? You phoine the courier, they come and collect, and hey presto they deliver to client. How difficult is that? Good on you for highlighting shocking service, Thor. Hopefully they’ll learn from this and serve their customers (if they haven any left….) better in future.

i’ve used ONP a boatload of times.

each time, they’re slow as crud, unless you choose RUSH printing.

they’ve only completely messed up my order once, and it was a huge gap in their system–somehow the designs were uploaded then “disappeared”, but no one contacted me to tell me the same, and the site was showing the order as processed, even though they never actually properly received the designs! i had to intervene (it should have been THEM who has a system to notify them so *they* can intervene first), and it was only then that they saw that their system had lost my designs, and the order was stuck in limbo, after a week or so.

to their credit, they ended up shipping me twice as many cards, unfortunately for me, it was for a design that i intentionally only wanted to do a short run on until i got a new design ready for a larger order.

my advice–ignore their name, and if you really want it fast, choose *rush*, then call as soon as you submit your order to insure things are kosher.
