Great Time at JVAlert Live

I have been in Orlando for a couple days now. Its strange to be in a town that is opposit of Nebraska. The people on the street and in traffic are complete jerks, but all of the service workers from the people at McDonalds to the front desk of the hotel a the nicest people I have ever met.

The first night I had dinner with Joel Comm and his right hand man, Dan “the dojo man” . We talked a little about Top Affiliate Challenge and the logistics behind a 24-hour turn-around per episode.

Later that night, my son’s birthmother drove in (a 6 hour drive) so we could hang out. She hadn’t seen Jacob in almost a year, so it was com play. Jake had a great time with her and I could really tell she had a great time with Jake. (If anyone out there is wondering if open adoption is the right thing to do, email me and I will show you why its the best choice for everyone - especially your child.)

More on the confrence tomorrow - I took some video of onef the best public speakers I have ever heard - Dave Lakhani telling Jason Marshal there were other men in the room who could satusfy his wife (she was right beside him). Its a funny vid, so stay tuned
