Ditching the Old Digg Theme

I am finally giving up on the old dig theme as a base for my blog. Between the components that do not accurately render across multiple browsers to the cumbersome sidebar interface – its time for the Old Digg theme to go.
I am planning on switching to the Cutline 3-column theme with some heavy modification. If you are a regular reader, please stick with me through the conversion.
Friend Blaster Pro Review and Techniques
I have some great content coming up! I just wrapped up an evaluation of a MySpace bot program called Friend Blaster Pro. I will tell you EXACTLY how far you can push it before tripping the MySpace security troopers. Of course, this review is not to be used for spamming – just maintaining the 100-some MySpace accounts you already have and manually update 😉
Freebie Friday Giveaway
My Buddy Wes Wyatt suggested I review some hardware items and then give them away on the blog to build traffic. I have two video product reviews filmed, and I will be editing those shortly. I am thinking about calling it Freebie Friday, so guess when you should check back for that!
Advertising Opportunities
I will be adding a little bit of direct-buy banner advertising (not affiliate ads) as well as ScratchBack and of course the obligatory AdSense. Don’t worry though – the main reason I write this blog is to generate good content and entertain. I make about $2 a day from it right now, so let’s just say I have a way to go before I can buy McDonalds every morning from my blog revenue.
Of course, none of this makes a lick of difference if you can’t navigate my busted up Digg Theme that won’t work in Safari, looks like crap in FireFox, and gets blown up by a long category name in IE7. More to come guys!
