Episode 10 of the Next Internet Millionaire is up – Drama drama everywhere…

The latest episode of the Next Internet Millionaire is online, and this episode features a clash between Jason Marshall and myself. I am bound by a non-disclosure agreement so I am holding my comments on this episode until after the final episode of the show airs.

What I will say is that I never lost sight of the fact that this was a reality show – a competition. In any type of competition, whether it is a football game or a Monopoly game, you need a strategy to win (unless you are the Huskers then you just don’t win). You can cross your fingers and hope that you get lucky, but is that really being a tough competitor?

If you have not watched Next Internet Millionaire or if you have fallen off the wagon recently, this is a great time to get back in on the action.

In the mean time, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on my performance during the show, Jason’s performance, as well as the unexpected and explosive judgement room scene. Let me know what you think!

    Hi Thor,

I was surprised about the latest episode for sure. I’ve been watching every episode and I think all three who are left deserve to win right now!

On my blog (linked in the comments), I posted about the strategy of lying to compete with others and I think personally it’s not a great thing to do when you are competing in a business competition. You see people do it in other games, like survivor or whatever, but I don’t see it being necessary in a competition like this.

It looks to me like you’re doing great though and who am I to say since I’ve never been there. It’s just a great show to watch because it’s kind of like the apprentice which I absolutely love.

    Good luck!

Just watched episode 11, Thor. I was shocked at the outcome!

Thought you’d beat out Trippy for sure; but I guess Joel wants to capture that youtube generation. They’ll have money… someday!

Congrats on a great showing. Perhaps we’ll bump into each other in Breck someday.

@Angela – Thas for your kind words. After the episode 10 beating I took in the public eye, they are a wecome sight. Its really frustrating when people are saying such negative things about you and you can’t respond, but thats the agreement I signed 🙁

I am witing a farewell post tat might shed some light on some of the decisions I made in the competition and maybe even raise my stock a bit in your eyes, as well as some others out there.

Either way, I really appreciate you stopping by and I will be sure to check out your site.

@Nathan – Hey, don’t sell Charles short. He is a really cool guy and he deserves to win just as much as Jamie does.

It was a disappointment to me to come so far only to get eliminated, but I learned a lot through the process and wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

I would love the chance to get together sometime!
