Wow, Night_rider...that wasn't even directed at me, but I feel insulted just seeing it through the RSS feed for this article. Thor actually seems kind of reasonable, seeing as he's been civil with me after I basically panned the site he had me review. At the risk of hypocrisy for pointing out your ad hominem and then engaging in one of my own, I'd have to say you're probably a real toolbag. Cheers.

Schrock,
You are just another idiot who has a couple of hundred quids in his pocket and stands infront of a BMW showroom thinking you woul buy one of them one day but then realise that you can only buy a 20 years old crappy car with $200 and then moan about the car.
Why do you expect that a blogger with a good PR and an established website would write a post for $5 ? Are you out of your mind?
Its just that you are a noob and now nothing about seo.. The links you have got there are worth a lot of money.

The blogs you calling MFA how does that matter? if you wanted direct click through trafic why didint you spend your money on pay per click instead?

Get your facts right you moron...

You are soooo GAYYYY.....

Thor and Jacob,

I'm curious--how many categories did you guys apply to your campaign? I noticed that some of the campaigns offered were extremely limited in categories (i.e. for 'computer' related blogs only), but others seemed to have chosen all possible categories to ensure it would be available to anyone on ReviewMe, thereby condemning themselves to get their reviews written up (at least in part) on unrelated blogs. Of course, bloggers can still change their keyword dynamically on ReviewMe, but I'd love to know if choosing a single category does somewhat improve the selection...I assume it won't filter splogs, though.

How did you find out the 14 URls where your review was posted?
I tried a pack of 10 yesterday and they charged me money for that. I do see 2 reviews already posted on garbage web sites because I found them in my web server logs (referal), but I don't see that listed anywhere in my reviewme account.

For what it's worth, I got paid $22.50 by ReviewMe for the 4 reviews I wrote last month (including the one on removing spylocked). As far as I could tell, the site started off really shaky (at one point they emailed me to say their auto-checking of the sponsoring URL inclusion was disabled because it wasn't working properly), and stuff seemed to appear and disappear. After a week or so, however, it stabilized. One of the reviews I got paid for was the SoloSEO one that you also did. Did you happen to get paid as well today?

In your article, you refer to the content on my blog as 'loosely related' and I couldn't agree with you more. Of course, as a greedy capitalist, I'm going to take any writing contracts offered to me by the site. My biggest issue with ReviewMe is that you can update your blog's 'category' on the fly, in essence to 'fish' for any and all reviews that are available, whether or not they are content-related. All in all, I think the site needs more human intervention and control, but it's a good idea.

P.S. I noticed that the page on spylocked has changed after a few people commented on the same things as I did, so I will update my review to reflect that.
