These are awesome surge protectors and not just for your computer…I wish I’d had one on my microwave, we took a surge and now it can turn anything into charcoal in less than a minute! If you’ve got a TV or an XBox invest in one of these!

Listen to Thor, buy a good surge protector. I had a $5 one, then lightening struck my home & it blew out everything in it’s path. If I would have spent an additional $30-$40 initially, it would have saved me hundreds in the long run.

@Knowledge… Its impossible to say for certain, because it is dependant on how many surges you get. However, in the Midwest, 2 years+ is a good estimate.

This is a very good thing to be educated about. Some people don’t seem to understand that it is very important to have your computer plugged into a good surge protector and check it often. There has been numerous times when I have gone out onsite and found that the customer had their computer plugged into a power strip or a dead surge protector.

The surge protector that we have on sale is very “user friendly” for our customers. You are able to use all 8 of the power ports because three of the ports are spaced out for the big bulky adaptors that normally consumes two ports.
The audible alarm is a nice feature because it gives our customers piece of mind. For a less equipped surge protector it’s a good idea to check the lights on it once a week. But with the protector that we sell you don’t have to check it at all. Once it’s done protecting your computer it hums to let you know it’s time to replace your surge protector.
