It was previously reported that Kevin Lutz was responsible for the MoviePass and MediaPipe infections. This was not correct. While Lutz's company, GKL Corporate Search does file documents on behalf of the companies responsible for the infections, there is no aparent ownership connection.

I just want to thank you for your wonderful and easy to follow instructions to remove the "popcorn.net" pop up. I had no luck with any other web sites and your insturctions seem to have done the trick. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is totally gone. What a nasty trick! I will report to the FTC as you have recommended. Thanks so Much!!
